The title of Warrior Monk requires a formation, or novitiate period of not less than three months, during which time the novitiate makes a commitment to live according to the Rule of the Military Order of Saint Martin of Tours.  Full acceptance into the Order requires the consent of not less than three Warrior Monks - that is, after the aspirant has demonstrated satisfactorily that he is able to adhere to this Rule, the Catholic faith, and the Church’s Sacramental life.  At an appropriate time, the Warrior Monks will admit the novitiate into the Order, who will promise to observe this life.
